Private label
Your label, from 1,000 vials
Private label in this category usually starts at pallet volume, which prices out exactly the companies that need it most — the reseller doing real monthly numbers who wants their own brand on the bench and can’t commit to a pallet of vials sitting in a warehouse.
Ours starts at 1,000.

What you get
Your artwork on the vial. Your carton, if you want one. Same fill, same lot documentation, same test panel as everything else we ship — the label is what changes, and nothing else does.
The process
| 01 | Artwork | You send print-ready files to our spec. 1.75 × 1 in label panel. Send vector artwork or a high-resolution logo. We’ll flag anything that won’t hold at vial scale. |
|---|---|---|
| 02 | Proof | Digital proof back in 3 to 5 business days. Nothing prints until you approve it. |
| 03 | Fill and label | 3 to 5 business days from approval. |
| 04 | Dispatch | Ships to you, or direct to your fulfilment partner. {{FILL: blind ship answer}} |
Total: 3 to 5 business days from approved artwork to product on your dock.
What we won't put on your label
We won’t print “Bacteriostatic Water for Injection, USP” — see the naming note. We won’t print therapeutic claims, dosing, or reconstitution instructions. We won’t print a purity or sterility guarantee stated as a promise about lots not yet made.
We’ll print your brand on an accurately labelled research reagent. If a supplier is willing to print the rest for you, that’s your liability they’re printing, not theirs.
Private label questions
Minimums, artwork, lead time and lot traceability — what a run commits you to, and what it doesn’t.
What is the minimum for a private label run?
1,000 vials per run.
The number matters more than it looks. Private label in this category conventionally starts at pallet volume, which is not a manufacturing constraint — it is a way of only dealing with buyers large enough to be worth the setup. A 1,000-vial run is roughly 100 cartons: stock a reseller doing real monthly numbers can actually turn over, rather than inventory sitting in a warehouse for two years reaching its expiry.
What artwork do you need, and what if I don’t have any?
Print-ready vector artwork sized to the 1.75 × 1 in label panel, or a high-resolution logo we place for you. If you have neither, we design the full label with you — that is part of the programme, not a separate service you are quoted for afterwards.
We review artwork before anything prints and flag what will not survive at vial scale. Hairline rules, small reversed type, tight gradients and three-colour logos at 1.75 × 1 in are the usual casualties. A label that looks correct on a screen at 400% is not evidence of anything.
How long does a private label run take?
3 to 5 business days for a digital proof, then 3 to 5 business days from your approval to dispatch.
Nothing prints until you approve the proof, so the only part of that clock you do not control is ours. A run can be cancelled without charge at any point up to artwork approval; after that it is made to your order and cannot be cancelled. Cancellation terms.
Do private label runs get their own lot numbers?
Yes. Your run is filled as a discrete lot with its own lot code and its own test record.
That is the part worth checking with any supplier. If private label stock is drawn from a pooled fill, your lot code traces to a run you do not control and your customer’s documentation is somebody else’s. Here the code printed on your label belongs to your run, and it resolves to a page in the lot library the same way a stock lot does.
Is the product any different from your stock line?
No. Same fill, same specification, same test panel, same Type I borosilicate vial and the same crimp-sealed closure. The label is the only thing that changes.
The published specification is therefore your specification, and the panel published on this site is the panel your run is measured against. You are not buying a different grade of product with your name on it.
Can I change the label between runs?
Yes. Each run has its own artwork approval, so a rebrand, a corrected address, a new size or a different lot code is handled at the proof stage of the next run.
Labels are printed per run rather than held pre-printed against your account, which is what makes that possible — and what stops you owning a drawer of obsolete label stock you have already paid for.
How is a private label run priced?
Quoted per run. Ask for a quote and it comes back covering the vials, the label origination and the print, itemised.
A run at 1,000 vials is well above the published volume break, so the published tier table is the sensible place to start if you want to estimate the vial component before you write to us. Payment works the same way as any other order: invoice, paid in full before dispatch, no credit terms.
